De Ombudsman for Retail is born on 24 October 2016. On that day, Comeos together with 15 retailers founded a new non profit organisation. The article of associations are adopted and signed. A Board of Director is appointed and paves the way of the new organisation a.o. with the appointment of a Supervisory Committee, choice of seclection criteria of conciliators and adoption of the Rules of procedure.
